Back to the point of the thread, I'd rather see derbys at the home grounds, no atmosphere at Telstra Stadium.

No wonder the AFL is taking over in QLD and NSW. You guys are so sad.

In 2000 when Storm played the Dragons at the MCG, I JUMPED at the chance to drive all the way to attend it. Even if it was going to rain which it did. Why? Because I thought it was good for the game. A chance to attract more fans. Which it did even though it rained.

Seems you guys couldnt give a damn about whats good for the game and wouldnt support it anyway.

A REAL, PASSIONATE supporter of Rugby League would. Always. And the ONLY reason these games didnt have atmosphere is because you guys were too lazy to support Rugby League in its attempt to grow. David Gallop must pull his hair out when this happens.

I dont blame him.

And if thinking of a good way to attract new fans to the games in a nice facility with plenty of seats where a father could take his wife and kids instead of sitting on a crowded hill with passionate angry half drunk supporters and never wanting to go again is a BAD idea, well then I give up.

yes i must say that i love the all seater stadium compared to grassy slopes.

One should not knock the Melbourne storm when they don't know the true facts.

oh yes the thread bring in as many blockbusters as we can, 30,000 at telstra is still better than 8K at Liechardt

Mark,

First of all are you Bill Lawry in disguise???

'He a victorian, get him up here i wanna boof him'!!!

Ease up on the Victorian ego. Yes there may be alot of passionate people in Vic about AFL but there is also some very passionate NSW people too. Alot more so than you, so dont think that just because the AFL has bigger crowds that it makes Victorians a 'higher' breed or something.

I commend you though for your support of League and good on you for always trying to improve it and encourage it. But there is something very Ironic about your attempts:

You want to cut Sydney teams out of the comp, but the very reason that didnt work 10 years ago was because the people of NSW were to PASSIONATE about there teams and refused to see them go!!!

But again you are right i believe in that League should promote and play BIG matches. As In-goal said 30,000 is better than 8,000!!!

One big advantage of playing at an all seater is that it is generally cheaper. At olders grounds you have to pay you $15 to get in and then another $7 or so to sit in a chair!!! That sucks as far as im concerend.

May i ask who you are referring to when you say "you guys".

Are you trying to tell me that NO sydneysider is passionate about Rugby League?? You have to be kidding me.

Obviously you dont give a stuff about League because all you seem to do is bring up arguments about Melbourne vs Sydney.

You drove in the rain to watch your team play. I can think of countless times i have sat through wind and rain to watch my team play as well, but i am not going to brag about it like you have. What do you want? A recognition medal??

YOU are the one who doesnt give a stuff about the game.
