The Dawson Twins Minus 1
Guest
As I figure many might have already (understandably) forsaken the WORL board for this one, I thought the venerable Pepe might be among their number.
Therefore, I'm posting my reply to his post on WORL here as well:

if that dream final did evereventuate i think the whole sporting world would be barracking for the mighty jets,so i guess we the storm are the ''evil''.
i think you are underselling the jets a bit short, the saint raved about the bbq cuisine at your club,i wish we good say the same about colonial,we pay close to $4.00 for a bucket of dry chips, add 20 cents for the dead horse.
i was originally going to state a souths v jets grand final would be the ultimate,i had to put my team in however,it's gives the neutrals someone to hate.
cheers pepe
ps, does singleton ever find his way down to henson park these days,i guess i'm still optimistic about the gosford jets.
</blockquote> Singo? Yeah, he comes over for a couple of games a season, and we almost always turn in a dismal performance to make him (and the rest of us) wonder why he/we bothered turning up.
Still, it's a Bluebag tradition to have our worst results come at the worst possible time.
Mind you, we're hopeful this week - we've been winning a lot of first halves lately, just falling in a crumpled heap halfway through the second half.
I figure Easts are beatable at Henson this Saturday - they've got at least three players promoted out of their First Div to fill holes in the NRL side through suspension.
Also, re the Storm being "evil", I must admit that, like most league fans, my estimation of "evil" in other clubs comes down to who has "done" something to the Jets in seasons past - whether it's beating us in a Grand Final or just the usual snide robbery that goes on in league administration.
For that reason, the Storm aren't "evil" in my book - but maybe it's just 'cause they haven't had the chance to beat us in the wrong game or rip us off at the board table as we haven't been playing in the same comp.
Personally, my dream GF would be a win by the Jets over St George (and the poor bloody socks). Hardly likely this (or any other) year, though.
