Makes me a bit sad that Fitzy and Patten dont even really remember their playing days back at the Dragons.

Also, do we have 'any' recruits for 2010? Our team is actually reasonably solid now (injuries permitting), but there should be players wanting to come to the club/Bennett for less money than at other clubs. As they get a chance to learn from the master and for success.

If Brisbane/Storm can put together a team with as many origin/international stars as they do, there could possible be potential to slip a couple of potentials into our side. We are actually quite lucky right now that a lot of our players are quite under-rated, but strong defensive players.

Patten is a strange one, he beat out Lee Murphy for the fullback spot back around 98-99, he was good but never really great, I still dont think he is that great frankly, but has done well to sure up his spot for the dogs for a decade.

Fitzgibbon was our mistake though, who knew that the tall lanky guy was capable of playing so hard for so long, and such a good goalkicker, im pretty sure it was oru choice to get rid of him after the 99 GF.
