Makes sense though doesn't it gUt? There's no question that Queensland have been highly successful in recent years.

That's my point really. These things always boil down to 'that bloke from my club' or in this case 'that bloke not from my club'.

I can't bring myself to hate any player for being competitive and aggressive on the field, even if it means they're always in fights etc: it's been part of the game for 100 years. I guess I draw the line at what Danny Williams did or Hopoate or Isaac Luke trying to break someone's leg. Anything short of these sorts of incidents is just good theatre and we should just enjoy the show.

More so people hate grubby merkin scumbag players, of which Manly has more than its fair share. Thank god Manly have DCE. He is a shining beacon of hope in their otherwise grub filled culture.

Ohh, someone still a bit snappy about those "grubby merkin scumbag players" rolling your bunch of nice guys in the Prelim last year?

With Hopoate, are you refering to the finger or the shot on Galloway? If the former, he deserved what he got and more. If the latter, while I'm not going to defend the hit, I do think there was an overreaction to it. It was really no different to the shot put on Lockyer against NZ before this year's 4 nations. Things were slowing down and Hopoate tried to put on a big shot and went a bit over the top. 6-8 weeks would have been fair enough (though we'd all like to see a bit more consistency with rulings) but 16 weeks was rediculous.

Did Blair run 30 metres to do a flying ninja kick ?

You might want to watch a replay. Noone kicked anyone. Brett went in with his arms out, hardly a position that shows intent to kick. But hey, why let facts get in the way of a fanciful story?

Haynes slide into Goodwin was justified...Goodwin is a dogs player...we forgive hayne for that

As for slater he's a good player but is grubby (hayne can be at time too)

Anyone that pulls on a storm jumper ends up adding niggle to his game. Ryles will be the worst this year imo

Stewarts petulance last year elevated him past Slater in my eyes as a f**kwit.the bloke should of been rubbed out for 6 weeks for him running 40m to try and snot blair. Not even a sin binning

Petulance? I reckon if I'd been hung, drawn and quartered as a result of a media trial I'd be pretty angry too.

I watched the replay plenlty of times and what I saw was a kick. Maybe if u took off ur rose coloued glasses you may see it different.

I also dont condone what storm players did that night. They are grubby pricks too.

However what I saw that night from Manly constitues a DOG ACT. its a dog act when it happens at 3am in the Valley, and a dog act when it happed on a footy field.

Well, you can agree with yourself all you like but clearly very few other people (including the judiciary) agree with your view. IMO Lussick had every right to get a few back on Blair, Robertson and Foran didn't do anything but pull players away. But if you want to throw an anti-Manly agenda in then you'll see what you want to see.

Just like your anti Storm agenda/obsession aye

No, not really. I think Slater, Blair and Smith are grubs but wouldn't say the same about inglis or Cronk. It comes as no surprise that Slater and Smith are among the most mentioned in this thread.

Slater and Smith will never be challenged in their respective positions on this team.

Hard to fit Slater, Dugan and Hayne all in the one team given they are fullbacks

That's just the first 2 pages, but you're right, it's just me.
