I think Frenzy alluded to this in an earlier thread but a snippet in Danny Weidler's column has said Anderson isnt the only coach dumped at Cronulla this week.
Jason Williams has been replaced by Aaron Raper. Can this be confirmed now. I had a feeling Aaron was coaching at Parra and may need a release or something? Hope its true.

Also reported today - Stuart Raper apparently is mates with Pommie 5/8 Paul Sculthorpe, but to afford him would have to wave goodbye to Noddy. Me? I'd stick with Noddy......unless his friendship with Opes negatively effects his game, that is?

It's true, was announced on the radio last night as well.

Aaron has never coached at Parra as far as I know, last year he was our Flegg trainer.

He recently took a job with the Dragons as assistant coach to John Cross with their Flegg team. He wanted the job with us but the Sharks couldn't guarantee it to him with certain housekeeping that was to be done.

Good of St George to release him to take on the role.

I was never happy with Aarons play at the Sharks & was happy when Langy let him go.
he tried hard but too many nothing kicks & wrong option plays.

Well reefster, brother Stuart was no genius on the field either but can coach a little bit. For mine Aaron is a good choice. Send the jury out.

Absolutely have to say though once again that getting rid of Ando did nothing to rid the club of it's nepotic tendencies.

Soon we might even have cousin Mick "Missile" Mullane on the board!

At least they are all De La boys
