Absence of Stars, new players next year??

Just a quick question here, who would you like to see replace these following players next year if they infact leave the club

Robbie O Davis: Retired

My Ideal Replacement: Paul Wellens (St Helens)

I know many ppl would like to see Seage have a shot there and make it his own but I really like the look of Wellens from what I have seen. He is a quality fullback and would provide great attack and defence.

Andrew Johns: England, Maybe Bradford????

My Ideal Replacements: Paul Deacon (Bradford) and Matt Orford(Melbourne)

These 2 would be our new halves combo next year no doubt! I know Kurt is a great up n comer and I think he is a great player but I think these 2 would do a fantastic job for us. Deacon's kicking game is superb and he is a sharpshooter when it comes to Goalkicking!!!! If Johns goes 2 England he may go to Bradford as its successful, I think we could look at getting Deacon as a swap a roo. Matt Orford is the IMO the 2nd best halfback in the game, He can do anything and would be Ideal. He wants to come home and we are a successful club so I think that might sway his decision to come to us next year. You are looking at the 2 best exponents of the 40/20's in the game, What a Bonus!!!!

Matt Parsons: Retired

My Ideal Replacement: Stuart Fielden (Bradford)

This man is a must sign if he is off contract with the Bulls. He is without a doubt one of the best forwards in the game, we would have the cash to get him I think, he wants to play in the NRL, why not begin with us

Ben Kennedy: Retired

My Ideal Replacement: Jamie Peacock (Bradford)

Yet another Pommy and I think he is a great player who wants to come over here, former man of steel, Peacock would be a top replacement, push Abes into lock, very intimidating forward pack!!!!

This is just my opinion but that sounds pretty good 2 me, if I was told we would purchase those players I would ova the moon!

hmmmm I like the idea of Peacock and Deacon.
Don't know anything about Wellens even though the name seems to ring a bell.
I'd still like Seage to get first dibs at fullback.
Matt Orford I think will be beyond our budget even though If Joey goes he would certainly be welcome....... I think he will be under contract with another team before we even know what Joey is going to do unfortunately.
