I know being australian there is alot of hype over the Rugby League's State of of Origin and its no wonder. its the best of the best from each state doin battle. the NFL has its own version of this, called the Pro Ball and i was wondering, just whose side are you on??? AFC or NFC

i'm a raiders and bronco's fan so im all AFC! wat about the rest of you's?

The injuries will mount, so will the players that don`t want up for this end of year slug fest I`m A Packers fan and a massive NFL fan, but have no interest in showing any allegience to either Conference.

AFC for sure! only NFC team i like is minnesota where as i like about 10 or 11 afc teams lol including all the teams in the afc west which makes it hard for me to get into all these division rivalries that oakland have.

The problem is it is just who they play for, not where they came from like SOO. So it is really just a game with the best players. Thats why they call it the "Pro-Bowl" and nothing more. The result really doesnt matter, being picked is the main thing.

Thats right, I don`t like to get drawn intot hat argument like I had with an NFL guy before, the Pro-Bowl is only chosen on the best performers each year. Its nothing like our NRL State of Origin.

soory bout that. maybe the stae of origion was a bad example. i used it for the fact that it follows the same principle of two teams of the best players from a certain area. in the state of origion its NSW and QLD which are states where as in NFL its 2 confences.

Well, my 16 favourite teams play in the NFC    nah, just mucking around but the way I look at it is I'll just go for the conference who's the conference of my team, which is Green Bay. So I spose I go for the NFC. And an NFC team won the superbowl last year... 8)

Going for Oakland I support AFC.

Going on last years results (I think it was AFC 4000000000 NFC 0) I'm predicting another AFC win.

yeah. u guys are right in the fact that it isnt the most proffesional of games but it is good to watch a match where the level of talent is much higher than usual. i think the reason for that is that unlike stae of origin, the teams in each division/conference are usually trying to beat each other to take out divisionary and conference titles and all of a sudden they are playing together. its not really going to work

I go for the AFC, as a Steeler fan from the days (70s) when the AFC was dominant. In the 80s to mid-90s the NFC had an even stronger period of dominance, but now it seems to have leveled out. I'm referring to Super Bowl wins, not the Pro Bowl, as the Pro Bowl is not contested with much intensity, as others here have noted.

None of the All Star games in NA sports are anything like the SOO, but the best of the big 4 is probably the baseball All Star Game. There really is a rivalry between the 2 leagues, and the players seem to put out a good effort.

yeah. the pro ball is pretty pointless except to make money. their is nothin being played for except to see which conference produces the best players.
