And having the Storms big 3 on their show was...

The small people (in both codes) need to realise there is no code war. It is a media beat up to sell papers and a lot of geniuss fell for it hook, line and sinker.

Again, cross-promotion. NRL is on Ch9 if you hadn't realised. Wait til other stations get the rights - all NRL references will disappear.

You've fallen for the GWS Trojan horse.

No NRL club has died in the area (Roosters and Souths territory) where the Sydney Swans draw most of their fans from.
No AFL club has died in Melbourne since the Storm have got there and started to grow a following down there.

GWS will be able to grow their own following without taking any fans from existing NRL clubs.
Just like the WA AFL clubs will be just fine when the Perth Reds start up.

We live in a unique sports crazy country and as a result there is room for both codes in every major city.

Like Martin Luther King I have a dream where one day in the future there is a second NRL club in Melbourne and one in Geelong, and an AFL club in Newcastle and Townsville. One day there will be well over 20 AFL clubs and well over 20 NRL clubs in every corner of the country.

There is no code war. It is a myth created by lowlifes like News ltd to sell papers.

Of course not. The effect of the invasion hasn't hit yet at senior level. But take a look at the grassroots level now; next time you head down to Malabar or La Perouse have a look at some of the sporting fields. Aussie rules posts now stand where league posts once stood. And banners encouraging kids to 'play AFL' have popped up in Maroubra. Right in Souths heartland FFS. How do you feel knowing we could lose the next Sutton because he wants to play in the AFL?

Roy Masters wrote a pretty scathing article on GWS this week and he's certainly not from News.

He writes in another paper, another paper almost as bad as News in terms of being interested in creating beat ups to create artificial news to sell more papers.

And what your saying about the next big thing, it balances out. For the Storm, Victorian born and bred players are starting to come through their ranks. There is enough room in Melbourne for rugby league just like there is enough room in Sydney for AFL.

They bought Falonk and cutie for a reason pal. It seems you've fallen for the AFL spin on this subject.

Anyway, stop using the footy show thread to push your fumbleball agenda. You are a disgrace to all Souths fans.
