New rape claim

A WOMAN has implicated a current and prominent AFL player in an alleged pack rape.

The woman's claim will be aired on SBS's Insight program tonight.

The AFL player is alleged to have been part of a group of five who raped the woman a few years ago.

Just shows, rugby league isnt a dirty code, its a problem of all codes of football. But after weeks of battering, I doubt the mud is going to rub off rugby league. It will also be interesting to see if the media cover this case with as much ferosity.

In the last several weeks we have seen how bias the media truely is.

The St Kilda story has had more today alone then RL's problems have had down here ... I wouldn't be judging the coverage of the AFL's problems by the NSW/QLD media.

Yes, but the SMH always gives the AFL a decent bit of media coverage as opposed to Victorian papers who'd give RL f**k all.

The Storms been getting pretty good coverage the last few weeks. At least in the Sun anyway, The AGE is a bit too left for me lol ... Yesterdays story on Ross was good. The point still stands, the Bulldogs rape allegations are about a bunch of Sydney Rugby League players, the St Kilda allegation is a rape claim against a Melbourne footballer. Given neither city usually gives a shit what the other is doing ... I wouldn't be at all suprised if this isn't put out as hard as the Dogs story is in Sydney.


& besides everything else, given the St Kilda issue is already been being handled in a much more professional manner ... Rugby League deserved the coverage it got as everyone seems to give a shit about either the game or the club .... No one seems to give a shit about the girl.
