Plenty of positives, along with the negatives. It is still shown that Finch cannot consistenly play well the whole game, a few shining moments mixed with some horrendous airswings. Soward is actually showing his talent, unlike the overhyped underachievers yet to consistenly prove their berth in the top grade such as Todd Carney, Jarrod Mullen (Knights fans need to get over his ONE good game last year) & Ben Reynolds. Soliola needs more ball, the kids a freak once you remove the brain explosions. Fitzgibbon is back to his best, running hard & tackling himself to a standstill, whilst Morley, Shillington, Harrison & Tupou make up a brilliant engine room, that is actually one of the better, larger packs going around. And who could forget Charlie Tonga's 10 minute burst that turned the game; once he works on his fitness, he will be an exceptional impact weapon around semi's.

As for the injury scenario, it is very disappointing that Shackleton, who has been one of our form forwards this year, is injured, as has Cross, who is always a danger out wide, & could very well have ben an Origin option. Our team next week should look like:

1. Minichiello (he's form isn't top notch, but he's the best we have)
2. Roberts
3. Soliola
4. Paea, Lett, Mellars, Sa, or one of many options.
5. Perrett
6. Anasta
7. Finch/Soward
8. Shillington
9. Wing/Finch
10. Morley
11. Fitzgibbon
12. Flannery
13. Harrison

14. Tupou
15. Tonga
16. Soward/Wing
17. Plum

PS: As for those who believed Roosters pack wasn't anything special this year, they have greatly underestimated Shills & Shacks. They are two big kids, & make the yards. This is one large pack, with all bar Harrison easily over 100kg, & with Tonga & Shills over 110kg.

8. Shillington

10. Morley
11. Shackleton
12. Fitzgibbon
13. Harrison

14. Tonga
15. Tupou

For Cross depends on the scan will miss this week for certain - ankle ligament damage- It didn't look good. Fitzy wanted to get first use of the showers as their is limited hot water available for the away side at the pre-historic shark park- he will be fit for Friday - HOPEFULLY ?????
