I wrote this in the Canberra forum when one poster called some Tigers fans Idiots!!!
What about paullyboy posting "We were Robbed" after our earlier match at Cambo.
Guys if you'd been on the back of a 13- 3 penalty hiding you guys would of been fuming also.
The extra penalties gave you 10 extra sets at us not to mention the line drop outs you guys got due to the good field position. Hence the 116 extra tackles we made. Yet it was only an 8 point ball game.
I don't think we can gauge the performance of either team because the Ref was a constant factor.
The reason why Tigers fans are upset was Hayne's inconsistency. For example Penalised Skandalis for high shot, Yet let's the one on him slide later on. Schif holding Heighington's arm. Heighington laying on the player after smasing Hodgson..After we made a couple of breaks, one in the first half and then the moodie's break in the second, your players were clearly comming back from and offside position but didn't penalise.But when Schif made that break down the left hand touchline and Robbo i think got tackled 11m out from our line you guys spread the ball to the right and crocker got pulled down 1/2 meter from the line he gave a penalty which Gafa took a shot for goal.If i'm not mistaken that's a 10m run
Your first try was 1 metre forward.
Now 2 of the three penalties he gave us he had no chioce cause one he called held for the M.Hodgson flop in the first half and two he had also called held for the Maclinden penalty. Which leaves one penalty he found against you guys the entire match.
In saying all that you guys did play better, you have a good pack of forwards ( I wouldn't mind having Troy Thompson ) but it's easy to look good when you have so much of the ball.
I guess all i'm asking is that you admit that you got some help this game, and in the next few weeks when you get a game go the other way and your thinking why is it always us that get's the rough end of the stick!!
