Air loss in rugby ball

I recently bought a new Newcastle knights supporters ball and obviously, when I got the ball, I pumped it up. After a few hours, the air went down. So I pumped it up again and checked to see if there were any holes. I noticed, on both sides were the sewing patches meet, there was a hole. A slight hole on both sides.

So I was wondering. This cant be normal right? Is there anything I can buy to seal these small holes?

Take it back. Balls will always leak air but it shouldn't go down in hours.

And the outside stitching shouldn't matter should it? There should be a bladder inside, thats where your problem will lay.
