Oh for some clear running for De Lago Mist. She never really got it and ended up 4th beaten just over a length. Had she saw daylight like at Flemington, she wins.
Black book her for her 3 year old prep! She still raced a little green today and she's going to be a gun 3 year old. Class above anything in that race today I think.
Hayes said earlier today that they nearly paid up the late fee to run in the Slipper. He then said she would have filled the gap between Miss Finland and the field. Hard to argue with him after today.
