All Blacks v Argentina v Nigel Whitehouse

Yep, just like classic WWF style last night there was a fatal three way match in Buenos Aires. Nigel Whitehouse, the Welsh referee absolutely destroyed any flow of the match with about 25 penalties, including a range of decisions that no one could figure out one way or the other. Whitehouse showed himself to be the old school type of referee going by the old comment "I will be more noticed than any player." Sources say that frozen foods sales are soaring due to the amount of peas Whitehouse goes through from his constant whistle blowing. He seemed to A: favour home side B: favour underdog C: favour any side that follows the classical old British style of boring footy of maul, maul, and then back to the first five in the pocket for the old 'garry-owen' or thumping aimless punt into no-man's land. Positive ball movement, positive scrummaging, ripping the ball away when its not a ruck were simply outlawed last night by Whitehouse.

If anyone can explain half of his decisions, be sure to let us know. Please? I hope no one who is a big league fan who just wants to bag out union at any chance got to watch that match, or any union fan who wasn't an All Blacks or Argentinian fan got to watch that game - the only good thing to come out of that game was Whitehouse developing a cure for insomnia.

Deadset, this particular tool will cost a major side a chance to progress in the next world cup if he is not deregistered immediately. Pity, that bloke ruined that game a chance of being a classic and a good advert for rugby union.

Eh you must not of seen the SA vs France game the French were penalised for smashing the jarpie scrum and actually chancing their arm once in awhile.

Anyway yet again the Argies prove they can match it with the SH powerhouses, such a shame Murdoch and co f*cked them over big time.

Yeah I'm flabbogasted Douglas. Especially since New Zealand rucked over the top of the ball, regained possession, and then an Argentine hand ripped into the ruck to rip it back... but MacDonald, from 2-3 metres away is binned? Whitehouse was on fire.

the dickhead ref spoiled what could've been a good game.
The Pumas showed their defence could match ours, the scrums were good from both sides.
It would've been an interesting game had the ref not been getting off on the sound of his own whistle and voice.
Very disappointing, and he's meant to be of International standard?
God help the game if that's the case..

The way I saee it Henry's experiment has been brave, the games against Ireland and Argentina have shown that. We've got more out of it this way than we would have of having the top side get three easy wins, and this way neither Australia or South Africa have got a proper look at the top side yet this year.

As for the Argentine game: Argentina were good, Whitehouse was sh*t.
