Exactly the only thing Bird was guilty for was lifting, the bloke landed on his back. I saw that tackle and it was pretty poor.
I doubt very much that if Bird was a origin player he would not have been charged for that tackle...

You must enjoy being wrong. It was written by a Warriors supporter actually and he did so in own time.

You were obviously too lazy to read the full report because if anything, it was a damning piece on Saints handling. Quite clearly, a talking point of the match was Saints' inability to hold onto the ball while the Broncos handled the conditions better... and the author mentioned the Broncos' intelligent approach to the game.

Every writer is under scrutiny, but at least get your facts rights before you become a critic.

But the LU writers are volunteers who do a good job and I tend to stick up for them.
If it was a pro-Saints article I'd agree, but I can assure you it was pretty much the opposite... and the author Tim Lawrence didnt hold back any punches.
If SATW actuallly read it, he'd become an even more cheerful fellow.
