I cant post new TOPICS either in IE. I'm now in netscape, so if this posts, thats why this has posted and other posts I've tried haven't!

I thought I'd ask here first, as they(green eye and Willow)seem to take any question about the site to heart and as abuse... ;-)

I got my answer to fix the problem. What I don't understand is WHY that was the problem, when it hadn't ever been before... Anyway, all is better now in IE and I don't have to put up with the moronic scrolls in Netscape that they refuse to believe are still there or want to be bothered to fix anyway...

I've had the same problem a few times in the last week or two, but hitting Refresh generally brings it up to date. No idea why it happens, but it is only here...

People assume it is the web-site. I am responible for 8 corporate web-sites, not the look, the connections. Most - 99% of complaints end up being the end user PC config. - not the web-site.

It is usually PC related, your PC that is.
f**king Netscape??? No wonder you have issues.

Booyah - I get that one also. That usually means the LU bandwidth is all chewed up and cannot return your query within the pre-defined time limits so reports it to the browser - refreshing fixes that. It is annoying but bandwidth is expensive.

I used to have all sorts of problems with Netscape. Especially version 4.0. Everytime I'd go to a website that had Java script the browser would bloody crash. I changed over to IE and haven't looked back!

Version 4.0 ??? They're up to V7.0 !!!

Personally I prefer Netscape, no friggin pop-ups or unauthorised downloads and updates. Its much more secure than IE.

It would have been about four years ago when I changed over to IE. I remember though that Nestcape 3.0 Gold was a pretty good browser in it's day (around 1997 or so). Though their mail component had a bug where it would delete email before you could read it.
