If youve been taking all those 80s lyrics quizzes and keep thinking, "Damn, that was too easy," then this is the quiz for you. Heres the deal: all of the songs are at least fairly well-known, either as hits or as "novelty" songs. No two are by the exact same artist. There may be a few from 1979 that capture the 80s sound.

For the price of a dime I can always turn to you
They get so angry like pouty children denied their candy
All my tubes and wires and careful notes and antiquated notions
When I was young I thought of growing old, of what my life would mean to me
You live for the fight when it's all that you've got
Today's another day to find you
You didn't bat an eye when I made you cry
Through the clouds I see love shine, it keeps me warm as life grows colder
I have to go to the orthodontist, I'm getting my braces off, y'know?
You can give it away, but your money don't mean much to me
If it starts comin' on, catch me getting' in the mood
I don't approve of what you did to your own flesh and blood
I feared my heart would beat in secrecy
Then a man called our exchange but didn't want to leave his name
It means so much to me, like a birthday or a pretty view
