I believe that Friday's Daily Telegraph could be compulsive reading for anyone who follows the Panthers.

It's probably nothing... maybe an interview with Elliott or some crap. It wouldn't be a signing because we wouldn't have to wait for Friday's Telecrap for that.

I was thinking along similar lines.

Like I said......probably just a distraction to try to get everyone to shut up about Gower.

I don't really know what sort of dollars european rugby sides are paying their players. I'd be surprised if it is substantially more than what Penrith are paying him, however I don't profess to know all in relation to these fiscal matters.

Not many people are talking about the influence Amanda may have had in this decision. Like most celebrity couples in this day and age, they've had their ups and downs, but who knows, she may be interested in furthering her career in France????

Personally I think the pig may be a bit of a fish out of water in France. You can take the boy out of the western suburbs, but you can't take the western suburbs out of the boy. At the very least it will be a real culture shock to him. I hope everything works out for both of them over there. I've made no bones about it in the past on this forum that I like the bloke. I'm just very disappointed to see him leaving the club.

My guess is that it will be a puff piece engineered to make us disgruntled supporters feel better about ourselves, and maybe make us forgive the club for all their "work" of late.

Today's telegraph is the perfect example of why gower wants out. I'm dissapointed in the way the whole thing ultimately eventuated but I can't blame the bloke and wish him all the luck in the future.

As for Friday's paper? Penrith will announce that they are taking gower's salary and distributing it evenly amongst all 10 supporters who turn up come saturday night!!!

It'll probably be some nuffy signing and they'll portray them as the best thing since sliced bread.....just like they tried to do (and failed miserably), with Woolnough and Tighe.

I believe there will be a lot of support for Gowie out there. We all will get 1/2 a cent each.

This penny supporter won't be giving The Daily Telegraph her hard earned on Friday or anyday for that matter. The f**ken bastards can get stuffed for chasing away our players to Rah Rah and pommy land.

Bloody mongrels!

I had a message from Amanda today and she's a bit worried about the reception Craig will get on Saturday night but I told her to stick with us, we'll look after her! :D
