Anasta, Mason, SBW...Which way do we go

As everyone knows the negotiations involving these 3 guys will be of upmost priority for the dogs before the June 30 deadline. So what do they do?
IMO keeping SBW then Mason is of greater importance than Anasta who is currently the highest wage earner on the payroll.
The Dogs have to bite the bullet somewhere or else restructure the 3 contracts in order to keep them all, which is the situation most dogs fans would prefer to see.
A possible contract solution could be (based on estimated current contract worth, if im right)
Anasta $400K  $225K
Mason $200K  $250K
SBW $125K  $250K (with long term contract and upgrade options)

Anasta may not be happy but he seems to have been keeping his options open recently anyhow eg Waratahs. The worst situation would be to see the team lose 2 out of the 3. SBWs rubbish manager may not be happy also but further options may seal the deal. Whats everyone think?

SBW will get $300-$350K. The amount of people he draws through the gates adds to his value.

Apparently Anasta isn't on 400K. He was a couple of years ago, but has come back into the field since. $250K is closer to the mark, and he's said that he'd take a pay cut.

Mason is worth about $300K.

I'd love to see all stay of course, but I'd prefer to see the guys who want to play for the club to stay, based on recent comments I would say Anasta and SBW seem more keen to be lifetime Bulldogs. I'd be sad to see Mason leave, but considering the dramas both have he and Anasta had to deal with I wouldnt hold it against either of them moving on.

Bottom line-SBW must stay.

Which ever players want to stay with the club will stay, the ones who dont will go, it is that simple.

So following last year's GF when Willie was talking about wanting to keep the team together and create a real winning dynasty at the club, you didn't think he was a good clubman? If anyone, it's SBW who has yet to really show his pride in the club. He's been grateful, sure, and really happy to have played in a GF... but he's not bleeding blue and white yet, methinks.

it's easy in the euphoria of a premiership to wish for such things - but when a career is short with the possibilty of ending with the next injury, players tend to heed financial advice & such acts rarely last more than a year.

you lot have a great forward pack - losing SBW would be more disappointing to the fans than the team

I would pay mason more than sonny... Sonny had a great first year yes.. however mason has proved his worth, Origin Star, Aus Rep Clive Churchill Medallist..

I think sonny needs to have another great year before anyone would want to start dishing the dollars like mad....

Im not saying its going to happen but we dont want another case with anasta, where his form dropped and in the end had to ask him to take paycuts.... meh i dunno.. just my opinion....but what do i no

Re-sign all of them! Give Mason and SBW 350K each and give Braith 200-250. If we can't fit them all under the cap then lets just reach under the cellar of the Doggie Leagues club to pay them!:D

Seriously I think it can be done. I reckon we should stagger contracts if we have to. Build a dynasty and then accept a couple of lean years due to cap restraints and contract commitments and then go again.
