Would'nt brag about that if I were you Adam,it was a pathetic post. Was it you that started the petition denigrating Politis and the Roosters club? If not I'd bet you were the first to sign on. The club is (one of the oldest and proudest) League clubs and always has been. The Reason the team played in the grand final had a lot more to do with Smith and Carney's endeavours than Anasta's input over the year. Players come and go but the club is always there.
Not bragging, was more amused that the telecrap quoted me. The original article stated that the club was shopping Anasta around, and if this was true I would stand by my original reaction...however they've since changed their story and my opinion has also changed. I wouldn't be at all happy if the club was shopping our captain around. I'm sorry to say I fell for the telecraps garbage smear campaign, and of course fan outrage is exactly what they were aiming for.
As for the petition - didn't start it, did sign it. I hope Anasta is with us for the next 2 or 3 years (for less money, which I think the club is planning to do). Still has a lot to offer imo, and has been one of our best for the last 3 years.
