Anasta ?

I did not see or hear the game but heard Warren Ryan talking about Anasta on radio, his points in general were less than complementary -

1)What were the WT thinking when they signed him?
2)He stands around doing nothing
3)He will pass the ball to anybody

For a league identity in the media to come out and openly bag a player and question his signing you do have to wonder if WT are heading in the right direction by signing him.
The last thing we need is another diva standing around doing F##k all while there are players
in the lower grades with ability never given a chance to shine and benefit the WT in the Nrl. The club seriously needs to address player favouritism and select teams on merit to move forward and compete, without change and a new attitude from top to bottom we most likely will be in the same boat next year come semi's.

Very interesting.

Maybe the Tigers could ask Fox Sports if they wanted to hire a full time replacement for Laurie Daley!!!

He will take pressure off benji in the halves. Has a long kick and can defend.
He is better than any other partner for benji that has been experimented this year.

He can also kick goals marginally better but benji won't let happen.

Leads the team around the park, tackles, can kick long and high, can kick goals, and is tough....... Has 3X the heart any tigers player showed today.

Anasta is a good buy. At 200k it's almost a bargain compared to Blair. Another attacking option with plenty of experience. Plus having someone for Siro II to learn off if he is a long term 5/8 option.

+1 at the price.

I could even see him being some use off the bench as a utility in place of the winger that Sheens normally picks...

Wokka still bears a grudge over the 2000 Prelim Final when his Knights were 40 minutes from the Grandfinal up 16 to 2 against the Roosters - then in no time at all were down 26 - 16 before losing 26-20. he dont like the Roosters or their players.
