BULLS COACH ARRIVES AT WESTS TIGERS Bradford Bulls coach Steve McNamara has been a special guest at Wests Tigers training this week.

McNamara took over from the coaching reigns from Brian Noble at the Bulls and made an impressive impact in the English Super League.

He was more than pleased to be able to receive expert coaching advice from Wests Tigers Head Coach Tim Sheens and Assistant Coach Royce Simmons and was impressed with the Wests Tigers facilities at Concord Oval.

Sheens then invited McNamara to help put the team through a training session at St Gregory’s College Campbelltown.

McNamara had a successful career as a player with Hull, Bradford and Wakefield. Simmons coached McNamara at Hull.

The Bradford coach heading down under to gain an insight into the modern game from ex Hull coach Sizzler Simmons. The same sizzler who has one of the most abject coaching records (as a Head coach and as an Assistant) since Steve Ghosn, Alan Jones and Ken Shines were coaching first grade sides.

Keep em coming comical ... next week Vince Lombardi and Sir Alex Ferguson meet with Tom Shines

Just more spin from mr media to try and get the focus off the real issues. With membership and sponsor drives on at present we cant have anything negative comming out of HQ or anywhere else. They just have to keep talking the place up, bit like the sales manager at Leyland when they launched the P76

I can't imagine the membership drive going all that well. I know a few who has STs last year that aren't renewing this year and dare say we aren't the only ones not queueing up for lanyards, mass produced posters with printed signatures, a $10 shop voucher and a medallion. They should contemplate throwing comical's speak and smell in on the deal as an incentive or maybe a field trip with Ronald to a junior match where we can see a junior score 8 tries and ronald make a beeline for another spastic relative or a backrower who's just move to macarthur from penrith

Tom Shines - ESL.

Makes sense, the ESL is 10 years off the pace and so is Shines...take sizzler, ronald & noyce with him and set up camp in france...

id like to here "we want to win, they have to win" translated into french.

Yeh smart idea, everyone else who is over the hill and looking for a pot of gold heads to the ESL. Shines and Sizzler, I will give them a glowing reference and they can move their home for unwanted stray footballers offshore rather than camp concord

HE scored a heap of tries when we were sh*t
Fitzy scored a couple when we won the comp
Yet Fitzy got the nod
It pays to be a supercoach pet

Moth its you me vrs a very doggy outfit. You cant win the big one in 2005 and in 2008 be looking at the sewer. You could not run a joint down so far if you were trying. So is it incompent, or is it just bad luck. The salary cap is the biggest cop out ever invented. I just think its funny about 40% of the hot talent comes out of the south west but we pick up 1%,and thats our home patch. Come on Shines tell us what the real story is

HAve a look at what we have let go and a fair chunk of it is in the 3/4 line. In fact the entire 3/4 line from the GF is gone. And whilst ever Hodgo is there that means a certain f**kwit (related to a certain f**kwit in management) can't play first grade. So the alternative is to turn him into a winger so he gets a run.

The other possible conspiracy theory would have me suggest the wests lot are trying to engineer a split (noyce and ronald are their appointees after all and will try to make a go of it themselves). The dinosaurs think they can run a club on their own with a chook raffle, meat tray and 12,000 crowds on sunny sunday arvos.

Given the Rozelle Masterplan is now a fait accompli and given the location of Balmain leagues and it's real estate value compared to a sh*thole in loomeaaaaah and a pokie den over ashfield station if one side of the JV will be more likely to be able to stand alone it'd be Balmain with the revenue streams the masterplan will bring ... wests ashfield has pokies and that's it and pokies are very on the nose
