I'm sure there has been 100 threads on this man already, but I'm just wondering how he is going over in Union.

I've heard he isn't going very well....

He hasn't played a competitive game yet, apparently some one stood on his foot in a training game and damaged a toe which he had surgery on. His lack of gametime didn't stop him being named in the initial England squad of 45 though:roll: .

The English are desperate for a quality forward. Farrell could well be starting one of the games this summer.

I heard the English are looking at playing him at inside centre!! lol I am sure Matt Gituea, Jean De Villiers, Aaron Mauger, Gavin Henson, Gordon O'Darcy, Felipe Contempomi and just about every inside centre in the world is quaking in their boots!

This must top the cake as one of English Rugby's stupidest decisions. The bloke is washed up, he is too old, out of form and injury prone he does not have the knowledge of setplays like scrums and lineouts to play in the forwards and his lack of pace and agility will make him easily caught out in the backs. Mark my words Andy Farrell will NOT MAKE IT TO THE WORLD CUP.

I feel sorry for him if he doesn't make the RWC . I mean Iestyn Harris was lucky he made the cut and played well for Wales in the RWC .

This what happens when a guy is sign by the national body (RFU), he walks straight into the team .

TBH,

Even though farrell is a true professional, I don't think he gives a f*ck!

He's going to recieve nearly a million quid (or 246 million aussie dollars) for doing bugger all.

If he does not play in the world cup, or even a game of union, i think he will still sleep easy at night.

BTW his son is still playing League down in London (St Albans in NL3) and TV coaches them.

Farrell will be bringing his international losing culture to England rugby union.

Could he be a loser in both codes at international level?
