I could not imagine a better announcement than that of the signing of Lawrence on a long term deal.
Going into round 1 knowing all major players are signed, fit and ready would have the entire club in a positive mindset.
Wouldnt be a bad thing if they announce Sheens has an extended 1 year option based on his performance this year.
There are several clubs that would be breaking down his door come mid season. We should match any team this year and if we are going good and he is ensured a position (assuming he wants to stay) other clubs would back off, if we are getting pumped than he can piss off. Basically eliminate distractions in a year that realistically could be ours.
