Another NRL game for Perth?

Manky have backed down to fan pressure in regards to the Melbourne game but wanting to capitalise on the very good financial deal they have set up they are looking at bringing the Rd21 game v the Warriors to Perth instead. Would have to be played at Subi.

it is understood Perry and the club's management team still planned to capitalise on the groundwork and the many hours they had invested in trying to stage the Storm game in Western Australia.
It is understood Manly had formulated a draft plan to transfer their round-21 home match against the Warriors in Perth.
The game would attract a parochial Kiwi crowd based on the number of expats working in Western Australia's mining and hospitality industries.

I would go out on a limb and say with the warriors coming to town (doesn't matter who they play) it would sell out Scubiaco Oval even for Rugby League. We see what part time supporters the Kiwis are with Rugby & League in WA with the Force this will be no different and could also work in our favour for the "ARL TALK OF WA HOSTING A TEST MATCH IN THE NOT TOO DISTANCE FUTURE"... sell this game out and we would automatically be in the running for the test match and also a PRRLC in the NRL.

Great news. Hopefully a 25k+ crowd if marketed well with a decent KO time. Will be weird seeing RL played at the home of AFL!

Maybe, would be a good experience for warl players playing at subi. then again WAFL might demand only one game played on the pitch. Don't want those big scary RL players digging up their precious turf!

Any idea on how many tickets have sold to date? Or what they are expecting crowd wise?
