You'd think with that sensational junior league they have out there they would be finalists every season, even in bad years ala the good clubs.

Of course, when your talking about a club where failure is ingrained and just plainly accepted ...

Trust me, once you've put up with 20 years of it you'll know what I mean .... 9th is a terrible spot to finish.

As a position 9th isn't the best position to finish but there is a hell of alot worse positions and ones that 90% of people would of thought we would of ended up at the start of the season, and given that your such a league expert then where would of said the West’s Tigers would of finished at the start of the year or even last year for 2004???

Considering the records that the West’s Tigers have manage to set as club records this year and that we where in the hunt right up to our last game does say to an extent it hasn't been a flop of the season.

They shot themselves in the foot we all know that even the players do but at the end of the day they did exceed the majority's expectations!

Unlike Richmond expectations are aimed at theWests Tigers in some shape or form and It’s a bit hard for Richmond to exceed expectations as none are aimed at them!

Richmond's problem over the years is that we have finished 9th-12th and never got a shot at one of the best two kids in the country.

This year we get the best kid in the country and another one before 13 of the clubs get a shot

& my friend, we may have won the spoon but come March we will still have more members than your average crowd figure will be next year.

New coach, new coaching staff, new playing list, fingers crossed an entirely new board that won't send us down the shitter financially (Although if that happens unlike Balmain and Western Suburbs fans we love our club enough to rally and save it from dying) the Tiger Army's resurgence is on

Its a bit hard for the Wests Tigers to out number your memebers given there isn't even a club that members can join ;-) So as it stands the WTS have 0 members ;-)

And on crowd figures please the AFL always draw bigger crowds than League and even though this has been the biggest crowd attendence in the history of Rugby League in Australia (and I would say the world) so that is just a boring argument and one showing your clutching at straws

Simple fact Richmond = Spooners, there new recuitment slogan is

"Come and join us in a friendly spooning session"

Well the Tiger Army will feel right at home won't they
