The original line-up featuring Belladona, Spitz, Bello, etc...i totally agree, its not as if its a different Anthrax...doubt that they will come close to what Bush-era Anthrax managed on their 2004 tour

Joey Belladona is a better front man than Bush.
What was the set list like last year? Was mainly stuff of there new album?

Better frontman....probably.

Better singer? No freaking way.

I prefer the music with Bush than Belladona, it's got so much more power behind it and the Greater of Two Evils release confirmed it. How much harder does some of the early stuff like Gung-Ho and Deathrider sound? And at the same time songs like Indians and Belly of the Beast come across as so much richer with Bush's vocals.

With Megadeth, Anthrax, Motorhead and the Crue touring looks like a year for the generation before Limp Bizkit. :D

Eh.... I'd rather see this Anthrax lineup than last year's, but they bored me to tears last year. Depending on how much the tix are I doubt I'd go. They are IMO the lesser group of the Big4 thrash bands.

It was a mix really....then again, it was a We've Come For You All album tour....the show that they put on was great, i'm thinking that the original Anthrax might find that hard to surpass...then again, that's only my opinion and i'm not a huge Anthrax fan.......great to see the original line-up (not Turbin original) back together though, its cool to see bands who were never to be again, living again

What are the lineups of Megadeth and Crue now?

Not sure if i will go to see Anthrax, i loved Among the Living but didnt really get into any of their other albums. Didn t go last time they were here in Brisbane either, not a big fan of the venue, been there for a few raves not to sure whether i would like to see a band like this there though.

As far as I know the Crue are back to the original lineup, Vince Neil, Nicki Sixx, Tommy Lee and the guitarist.......im drawing a blank, Mick Marrs?!?!

Anyway, it's the orginal lineup getting back together.

Megadeth played the other week and Mustaine is the only original member left which isnt too suprising seeing Megadeth is his baby. The rest are recent additions. To be honest I stopped following the lineup changes once Marty Friedman and the drummer, Nick somebody, left.

Mick Mars is right.. hmm original lineup they would be nearly worth getting out to see.

I could never keep up with Megadeth lineups, they seemed to change often.

Anthrax & Mortal Sin - are they still kicking

Saw Mortal Sin last night. The new material is VERY nu-metal unfortunately. The drummer was wearing a bloody Slipknot shirt for christ's sake!

I never rated Mortal Sin. I always thought of them as a poor man's Megadeth.

I'm glad I won't be seeing them.

Never really got into either band, although NFL was good for a laugh when pissed.

MS were plain shitty thrash, Bestial Warlust or Sadistik Execution were better value at the time.

Off topic a bit, but has the people into Anthrax heard the Greater of 2 Evils CD?

If not, go get it because it f*cking rocks!!!

It's the Belladonna era songs redone with the current Bush line up. They got fans on the web site to vote for thier fav old songs and the top 14 made the CD. Old school thrash metal done with the grunt and power of Bush.

Pure Bliss.
