Im sick of the way so called commentators call our games ! Especialy the Manly game. We scored 5 tries to their 4 . We hung together as a team and in the end finnish 2 points in front. And what do we get? The press is all Manly the TV call was all about Manly , their new full back, Walkers brilliance , how Manly are back. Nothing about all the forward passes they threw! Nothing about the pulling down in the tackles! All I can think of is that the game didnt go with the script! Nothing about Noddy's great kicking game , nothing about Gallen ( 2 tries, great in attack , his tackling was also very special) , nothing about Stevens oh I nearly forgot , we won .

So what?

We've had to listen about how the Dragons were injury ravaged and how the Warriors were hopeless when we racked up two solid wins. The fact is that Stewart and Walker were the most prominent figures out there yesterday...

...And what about your Forward passes(Which led to a try), the constant offsides, the ridiculous penalty against hoppa (Which led to a try) and the offside intercept (Which led to a try). Shoe on the other foot. Mander had No f*cking clue out there yesterday but I'll pay the fact you were deserving winners. Don't get sour because the commentary and media has paid no attention to you. Get on with the job and load up for next week.

The praise on Brett Stewart has bordered on the sickening. I bet he never matches his efforts of yesterday ever again!

It's Channel nine. Had he have not played a game on that channel, no one would give a sh*t about him.

Gallen Played great. Deserve the Dally M points imho.

Agree. Always been the same though. Check out newspaper reports of our games. Win lose or draw we struggle to get 25% of the match reports. Unfortunately, last two years have not helped - Sharks are a story line for struggling, lack of discipline, internal ructions - if there's not that angle to it, not much interest in running it so it seems. Only thing that is going to change it is lots of continuing shift to the positive side of all those topic lines. The media is populated by many very average, very lazy people - never underestimate that. It's much easier for many of them to come up with some increment, however flimsy its basis is, to an existing theme, than to do some work and come up with an original, insightful theme.

In what capacity must he match yesterdays efforts, in what time frame and what is being bet?

I'm happy we're not getting much coverage. I would have thought we had enough of that when Opes was here, I'd rather just let Stuey get on with rebuilding.

Walker and Brett Stewart had outstanding individual games and they make good stories. I'm delighted for them to get the press covergae and we get the two points - that'll do me!

$100, by the end of 2006, and three tries including one length of the field effort. ;-)

;-) . What constitutes 'length of the field'? and what If he managed 4 but no length of the fielders?

Mate we won the game. thats all that matters. The factor of getting little press is awesome to me and the fact we have been average at best for most of the season, havent had a bye and still alive and well is good. Manly did play well but so did we in patches, but at the end of the ruckas, we got the two points. You cant ask for more than that.

Length of field - Inside Manly's 20m area.

If he scores more than three, one still has to be least a "length of the field" effort. :)

I don't think Hoppa should have been penalised for swinging the arm, its when he starts pointing the finger that you have a real problem...

If he scores more than three The "Length of the field" clause should be waivered.

The sharks were leading 24-6 at one stage, and for manly to come back within 2 points is a big accomplishment. Do the sharks players know the meaning of defence or tackle??
