Far as i can find out Australia has never played Scotland and New Zealand not played Ireland (at elite / top level competition). Anyone know better ?

Plus i am sure i have an old 'Open Rugby' magazine at home with an article on a France v Canada game from the 90's ? (May be a French Federation or Invitataion team I'm not sure). Once again, anyone able to add some light on this ?


(I'm now curious as to what player has played against the most international teams !)

According to Wiki France have played Canada, can't find any trace of the game though.

It was reported in Open Rugby with a photograph of both teams.

They played in Montreal on the French team's way home from their 1995 tour of New Zealand. France won something like 72-30 I believe.

Guessing Oz / NZ will only ever play Scotland / Ireland if touring the Northern Hemisphere as can't see either (any) of the Celtic nations touring down under in the next 10 or so years at least.
