Any comments on tonights game?

I dont mean to make any of you feel down, but today was a pretty good game by the doggies,

Where do u think the eagles can improve next week, and do you think brett stewarts suspension has had a bigger impact on the team then first thought?

Took awhile to get into the game.Being 7 -0 down in penalties at half time didnt help.Im not worried at all .

We lost first round to the Sharks at Brookie of all places last season.....the rest of the season tells the story, it's a long season but any team would miss Brett Stewart I'd suggest. Anyway, not a sore loser, well done to the Bulldogs!

We missed stewart of course, but I think the biggest impact of his impact was having to bring in rookie wingers, I was not impressed with either of them at all. And amazingly the team seemed like they were lacking combination and not geling with the amount of misplaced passes and the like which is odd as most, except for the wingers and rodney have been in that team for years.

To be fair to the boys. Every other club has had a few trial matches with the two ref system. This was our first. You could tell it had us on the back foot just by looking at the first half penalty count.

I think you'll find alot of us are dissappointed. Naturally, we would have liked to see them win, rather than lose.

Personally though, I'm pretty relaxed about this season. The memory of what they did last year is still fresh. Considering the way I was feeling this time a year ago......like I said, i'm not that bothered.

The Sea Eagles are the reigning Premiers and i'ts only round one of a long season. They'll improve.

Makes for a good competition doesn't it, of course I want Manly to win every game they can but one great thing about Rugby League is how unpredictable it can be!
