The other night I pulled out my old Manson album, boy I hate saying the name of this album out loud, the umm, Anti-?????? Superstar one!
I really don't like saying that!
I didn't like when John Farhnam done the concert thing under the same title when the TV would blurt it out loud!

Anyway....I pops on me old CD, which I hadn't listened to in onks, and I'll tell you what, it's a master piece.
There's only 3 bogus songs on that album!

You find better songs towards the end of the CD.
Sure, The Beautiful People is a good song, but there's better.
That second last song, the one about ''feel my power, shoot shoot the world's gettin'smaller','' that song is boss!
Even track 99 is evil.
You can see how Klebold was influenced by this sh*t.

Anyway...my point is...no, there's no point, I'm here to ask a question.

See this other album below?

What's anyones opinion on this album?
I didn't by Mechanical Animals.
How does that album fare to Anti Superstar?

Hollywood and Age of Grotesque are mild in my opinion and I over-looked MA's for some reason.
When I heard he went diva and glam around this time I thought, nah I'm not buying that album.
I've heard The Dope Show but that's all.

The young girl in Jb Hi-fi said buy it but I don't know.

He released a new album after the grotesque album, didn't he? The same girl in JB told me it's crap.
Where does Manson go from here?

John Farnham wasn't in a musical called Anti-Christ Superstar.... It was Jesus Christ Superstar.....

As for Marilyn Manson - the world of music won't be any less richer when he gives it up. He has gone in a more commercialised direction since Antichrist Superstar which can be identified with his stretch away from Trent Reznor who produced his early stuff.

Grotesque was a pretty good album IMO.

I have seen him live twice now and I havent regretted either experience, he puts on a damned good show.

Like the manson.

Manson isnt bad imo, i quite like alot of his stuff. The cover of Sweet Dreams is a classic. Dont know much about Mechanical Animals, but i'd say buy it, it'd probably be pretty cheap these days. I have this David Lynch movie soundtrack he did for The Lost Highway. Manson has two great songs on it, I put a spell on you and Apple of Sodom ... its a great Soundtrack in its own right, but the two Manson ones really make it good.

p.s. who remembers that huge rumour that he used to be the nerdy kid in The Wonder Years TV show ? lol sif.

I really like Mechanical Animals. He was on a bit of a Bowie/Ziggy Stardust trip at the time, so it's a little "poppier" but has some really great songs on it. I've always though MM was at his best when he just tried to wite a good song and worried less about the shock value.

So how many of you Manson dick lickers watched the Evan Rachel Wood documentary?

Very compelling stuff.

So is the defamation lawsuit.
