Any news on our new sponsor?

Surely by round 1 we will have a sponsor. We will be playing out of the best stadiums in the centre of Sydney in the next few years. Otherwise we can have the players wearing the jerseys worn back in 1996 before Asics sponsored us.

The Dogs and Broncos have just landed record jersey sponsor deals, yeah awesome we just use our leagues club and look like the amateurs we have been for the last 10 years.

But the leagues club on the jersey does SFA for it in terms of advertising ... so lets not bother claiming that as a plus

How poor as a club do we look if we can't even land a major sponsor??? Perception is everything, BA and the players and their efforts this season won the club a lot of praise after the disaster created by the previous board. If the same board was still here you may have a point but with Max in charge and a quality CEO appointment like the Bern there is no reason why we can't land a big name sponsor.

I mean even the Sharks landed a jersey sponsor after the peptides scandal and they didn't even need Jims fish and chip shop. But it's ok we all know gronk you are happy with mediocrity.

Facts are that you don't sell yourself short. Companies will want a multi-year deal and it would be stupid as f**k to align yourself to a brand for half what you might get in 12 months time.

Dyldam were trying to get a reduction because of the 2016 damage.
