My favourite director. Just very original and imo pretty much changed modern day movies to a certain degree.

He hasn't really relied on true stories ( apart from hero) like other well known directors, or played on people's fascinations and fears.....just like another well known director.

What i like the most about his films is not just the great way his movies are done, but his attention to detail is just fantastic. One example is in Hero when they're fighting on the water, just amazing. Or in Kill Bill the water drops falling. Or what about the conversations in his films? he makes it so realistic in ways like Pulp fiction before they ob the restaurant.

My favouriter movies of his are Hero & Kill Bill 2

Not only that, i love it when he acts. My favourite Tarantino acting parts are in four Rooms and Desperado when he's telling that joke, god he tells them good:lol:

but to answer your question, yes I love him. My second favourite director behind kubrick. I love Wes Anderson and the Coen Brothers as well.

fav QT movie is probably pulp fiction. theres not one bit of the movie I don't love. I can't wait for grindhouse to come out. All I can say is the studios or cinemas better not screw us around by not airing it in its double feature form.

how so? all he did was bring it to the states and helped out with distribution. He didn't have anything to do with its production.

Liked Pulp Fiction very much - didn't think much of Kill Bill 1 so didn't see 2

If you like his acting you will have to see the Top Gun scene he does in the movie "Sleep With Me" - crap movie but his 1 minute bit was very memorable

That's on the dvd, it's basically just QT talking to Jet Li about his experience with the movie. i'm looking at it now.

Sorry to burst your bubble here, but its just a marketing ploy by miramax. Basically it breaks down like this, Hero was released in Asia in 2002 and became a huge hit and miramax secured the US distribution rights however having a storyline that doesn't translate very well to western culture miramax reconsidered and shelved it. (keeping in mind this is back when miramax was a disney subsidiary). Having a whole bunch of friends at Miramax, QT approached the studio guys regarding their decision to shelve its distribution and agreed to attach his name (which is basically a brand name in the states) under the guise Quentin Tarantino presents Hero. That was 2004.

This looks like the US version of the DVD cover, but its basically the same as the one i've got here. Its a shame Yimou Zhang got very little credit for this film in western countries.

He is good, got a dirty f**king mouth on him. I don't mind Pulp Fiction, but i find the other films to be visually entertaining however somewhat boring. Guy Ritchie is at the top of my list, although he hasn't made that many films I love Lock, Stock and Snatch and Revolver

Kill Bill 1 was as boring as bat sh*t but apart from that everything else he's touched has turned to gold in what is a very boring era of Hollywood movies.

Yeah Guy Ritchie is very good. The right mix of comedy, action and intellect.

Tarantino is the master of dialogue. That's where Pulp Fiction stands above the rest - some classic lines all the way through.

"So pretty please, with sugar on top, clean the f**king car."

I love that Harvey Keitel sequence.

Lock Stock, Snatch and Revolver would probably all make my top 10 list. Just a pity he has to have Swept Away credited to his name, blood Madonna's influence.

Quentin Tarantino's cameo in Pulp fiction is a f**king classic as well. And Pulp fiction would have to be my favourite movie of all time.
