Any Signings ?

Does anyone have any inside information on if we are going to sign any QUALTIY players either before or after the June 30 deadline. I read today that "SIZE ME UP" Ridell is leaning towards staying at the Dragons.
Can anyone give me some reason to believe next year will be any different to this one ? :cry: :cry: :cry:

A year of time under their belt. I have no doubts we'll be active in the player market, but I really don't think its massively neccessary. I think we'll be well on the way up.

I really hope we make 1 or 2 key signings and then concentrate on keeping this squad together.

So youre saying
Let June 30 lapse...make 1 or 2 signings...THEN try and retain the squad after they're on the open market?

That could make things more difficult than they need to be

Yeah, that came across wrong.

Let me rewrite that.

I hope we re-sign the majority of this squad then make 1 or 2 key signings. Then in the next 5 years I hope we concentrate on keeping that squad together.

his still

* MASSIVE
* Young
* Talented
* Strong

and best off all he is a nutter when it comes to the good old "rip in" style that our team loves to play. He would fix up our backrow (11. Gallen 12. Bailey 13. Pritchard with Dumas on the bench - f**k thats one backrow that will belt people)

Michael Ennis is a must. He plays lock, hooker and probably 5/8th as well. And is also a gun goalkicker.

One would think that beattie wil be resigned as soon as he gts fit.
Top marks for the big fella to come back before he was ready to try & help the team on the weekend.

I thought Beatts was out on his ass at the end of the year. A fate he certainly doesn't deserve. He certainly needs to work on his fitness though. A few weeks in PL and we might see him back to his devastating best. The good thing is that clubs won't be lining up to sign him so we have plaenty of time with the big fella.

I hope you are right BTR, I love the guts this bloke shows week in and week out. I know that alot of supporters want to hang him for his short temper, but he is a front rower after all. I think he deserves the right to let off some steams every now and then
Nutters apparently signed today

Sorry for my lack of knowledge of current players but im currently overseas and have only seen one Sharks game this year. Luckily it was the Sharks V Broncos game. On a high note they are beaming the SOO into us "LIVE", I can't wait :clap:

Newcastle back up hooker.

Lot's of talent.

We got the SoO live up there last year too. My mate turned to me during the game just as I was biting into a meat pie and said, "Gee war's hell mate."

Time to cut the dead wood loose. He has served us well but unfortunately can no longer contribute. This is a business not a sheltered workshop for the old and slow........bye bye beattie
