Why? His form outside round 1 this year has been bog average. I hate the Broncos and Qld but Boyd is the stand out fullback.

Tom Trbo doesnt deserve to be anywhere near it either.

If Tedesco has been "bog average" then what is Boyd?

fergusson is lucky to be in first grade so he shouldn't be in any rep teams
I don't want Boyd in the Australian side but mainly because I think he is a dick.

But surely the team should be made up of mostly penmyth players as they are the favourites ......

Boyd is the incumbent and while his stats don't look as good in 2 of 6 games, he is the best fullback option we have.

His round 2 and round 4 stats are comparable to what you have posted above for Tedesco. Overall this year Tedescos running metres are better. I still believe ad a complete package Boyd is the best option we have at the moment given the rest of the spine.

Though using bog average for Tedesco was prob a bit strong.

Mal Meninga has been very public in saying that the bulk of the Australian side will come from that which went away for the Four Nations late last year. As such I would not expect major changes to the Australian side from that in the Four Nations final. Only change we can be relatively sure of is Jonathan Thurstron nor GI will be there, and as Maloney was on that tour I dare say he will come in for JT at five eight.

He's still got a long way to go imo. Still finding his feet in nrl, he would get destroyed in rep footy and ruin his confidence

Hurrell will be there....he isn't that bad imo
