Ah fair enough. Articles said born in Australia, mentioned 1 Kiwi parent.
I took the implication as the other parent was Aussie.

Did hurrell even live the required 5 years in nz to qualify?99% sure he's not actually eligible for NZ mate. Unless he has a NZ Parent/Grandparent?
According to wiki he moved to Auckland at 16, then Melbourne at 18, well short of the required 5 years for residency. Also a couple years off qualifying for Australia so at this stage he is only eligible for Fiji.
Good point,i don't think hurrell is eligible for NZ anymore....He missed out on kiwi selection a couple of times when the residency was 3 years..And now he's left NZ without being selected for NZ,his residency,no matter if it's been 5 years, becomes null and void..

Whare is the best right centre NZ have.
That's the problem best in nz... He's struggling atm to keep he's place at the panthers... Once mansour comes back he might get dropped to the reserves with hiku who's already struggling to make the starting team.... Whares defense is up there with the best but he's gonna struggle against kangaroos... And hurrell definitely won't make the kiwis teamWhare is the best right centre NZ have.

Must've not watched the last game against the raiders....hurrell is the reason titans games are even close to competitive.
he's in very good form, clearly some aren't watching.

I'm a fan of hurrell but he ain't ready for international footy yet...yes it was copley's channel that got raided.....and? hurrell had 0 mistackles and yet still ran for 140m despite not much ball.
missed the warriors match but was motm despite HIA against the eels. etc

Is the 5 accumulative? And if a player lives in a country for 5 years but doesn't play for the national team in that time, are they still eligible if they move countries?
Say a player was born in Australia but lived in the US for 6 years as a kid with his parents before moving back to Australia in his teens, would he be eligible for the US?
Kinda unlikely but it is grey area that could come up one day, does anyone know the rules?
Just watched that clip. NZ should pick him in an extended squad for the ANZAC Test and make him decide.
As for Vunivalu, I read somewhere recently (pretty sure it was RLW on the toilet) that he is eligible for NZ. So I'm just going off that.
Hurrell has played plenty of international footy for his country already.Stats aren't everything if you watched the match hurrell wasn't he's old self he was lazy a few times during the match... I'm a fan of hurrell but he ain't ready for international footy yet...
