From my understanding Vunivalu only lived in NZ for two years.http://www.rlif.com/ignite_docs/20160920 RLIF Eligibility Rules - Final.pdf
on the very first page..."residence"
He was in the kiwi train on squad when it was 3 years residency,he never played for NZ,then he moved to the gold coast..And the rules changed to 5 years residency..SO HES NOT ELIGIBLE..
CRACK ON SON I'LL SCHOOL YOU!
He's been in nz for over 5 years... And he's a nz citizen now... So he can represent nz if he gets selected...No it doesn't...
So if i move to NZ or OZ,gain citizenship before the 5 years residency period, you think im eligible?? Lol Christ..
The rules are there in black and white,if you can read go read them..
No he can't under the rlif's eligibility laws which spud has explained. He's been in nz for over 5 years... And he's a nz citizen now... So he can represent nz if he gets selected...

And I can't find anything online to prove he has nz citizenship, can anyone confirm he received it. All I can find is that he was a few months off gaining it and didn't want to leave nz in may of 2016, but then signed with Gold Coast a few weeks later.
Back to the Aussie side, the courier Mail will have to run a story one day soon, probably under craddock's column about qld only getting 8 or 9 of the test 17 even though we have won 10 of the last 11 series
