What will the team look like? Similar to the Anzac test team last year? Or the four nations team with obvious exceptions (JT to 6, Scott to prop etc.)?

NZ will probably be loyal to who did the job last time for the most part, but I'd expect guys like Matulino, RTS to force their way in.

I'll give it a whirl

1. Greg Inglis (Rabbitohs)
2. Will Chambers (Storm)
3. Michael Jennings (Roosters)
4. Josh Morris (Bulldogs)
5. Daniel Tupou (Roosters)
6. Johnathon Thurston (Cowboys)
7. Cooper Cronk (Storm)
8. Aaron Woods (Tigers)
9. Cameron Smith (Storm)
10. Matthew Scott (Cowboys)
11. Ryan Hoffman (Warriors)
12. Beau Scott (Knights)
13. Paul Gallen (Sharks)

14. Trent Merrin (Dragons)
15. Andrew Fifita (Sharks)
16. Corey Parker (Broncos)
17. Daly Cherry-Evans (Sea-Eagles)
18. Boyd Cordner (Roosters)
19. Alex Johnston (Rabbitohs)
20. Robbie Farah (Tigers)

Obviously with Brett Morris & Darius Boyd out you get a little bit skin on the wings. I don't think Mansour is in that great form yet but I'd understand people picking him and the same can be said for Tupou but I definitely think he'd get picked before Johnston.

It's the team I think will be named but it's a real lottery.

As an aside, the Daily Telegraph on Sunday said a crowd of 35,000 was expected. That's pretty eh.

Beau Scott may not be fit in time

Fifita is out for 6 weeks so who comes on the bench?

With Slater, BMoz, Boyd, Fifita, Guerra and Scott out:

Inglis
Mansour
Jennings
JMoz
Tupou
Thurston
Cronk
Woods
Smith
Scott
Hoffman
Bird
Gallen
Merrin
Gillett
Parker
DCE

Even then there's guys like Jackson, Cordner. Papalii, Myles who have experience so they have no shortage of depth.

A few changes due to injury/form.

Inglis
Johnston
Jennings
JMoz
Chambers
Thurston
Cronk
Scott
Smith
Woods
Hoffman
Thaiday
Gallen
DCE (It depends if Sheens has a hard on for DCE. Hunt's the other option here)
Lewis (Will Fifita be back?)
Merrin
Parker

Bird will probably come in for Merrin but I want to see at least 1 forward debut since it's the only Kangaroos test this year.

the kiwis by plenty....16-20pts

and theres more than a good chance that this will be the last test some of them aussies will play...gallen & parker will defo be gone..smith,cronk,slater & JT will all be 33 by the time the next 4 nations come around so question marks have to be raised about their involvement in 18months time..

heres a question for you aussies...if the names above retire from international footy to prolong their club careers by getting a proper off season and a full pre season....should they still be considered for origin?

yes. they've done their dues for their country. as much as anything it also allows the team to start blooding the next generation, which using sheens logic involves picking players on the bench and either not using them or giving then 3 minutes when the games over

also origin is more gruelling than any internationals we play so if they want to prolong their careers they'll stop origin first

and tupou should be nowhere near the test side. i'd rather have nathan gardner there over tupou

Will be interesting to see the Kiwi side...

Marshall is being talked up again and Soliola has been solid as well and could be an inclusion.

Harris, Bromwich, Luke, Matulino, Vatuvei, Johnson all pick themselves.

Proctor has been okay but nothing special..

Big Face has already said Benji won't be picked even if Foran and/or Johnson is out.
