There was an article in todays Herald which confirmed Taumata signing with the Tigers from next year, and said he's been talking with Marshall and Farah about staying out of trouble.

If this kid is a 5/8, I hope they play him from the bench not with Marshall at 7.

Another one with more talent in his bootlaces than most of our side. Whether or not he fits our system is a different story.

We are starting to get a lot of 6 & 7's on the books???? is this getting ready for BM to leave us? He will demand a bucket of money after the last 6 weeks showing?

We've gone from nothing to too many options in the halves - it's not a bad place to be.

I hope hes a depthy

fter the last few weeks - I think the best options we have are:

1 Gallant
6 Marshall
7 Moltzen
9 Farah

Why mess with it?

Undefeated with that four right?

From what I remember of him at the Dogs he played at 7 with Roberts at 6 but he didn't seem to be the organising type of half I hink we need.

Will be interesting to so what Sheens does with him, he's got explosive pace.

I think it's Simmons' comments make it rather obvious that Lui is seen as Marshall's long term partner in the halves. Sheens clearly sees Moltzen as the fullback. Taumata will fill the utility role irrepresible form forces Sheens' hand. MM will be a squad player and third choice as fullback imo.

I read an article in the RLNP this week seeing Sheens may shift Taumata to F/E leaving Benji to Halfback, or even shifting him to hooker and moving Farah to Halfback.

I think Taumata will be a bench player ( least i hope so ) he will probably be best coming on towards the end of each halves and attacking the middle, one thing i remember about him is his blistering pace. Moltzen has the F/B position for himself esp after his performance on sunday. Marshall is playing with confidence mainly due to the fact his back to the position he is suppose to play, Farah needed a performance like sunday in my opinion cause i think he has been quiet.
I like the look of our backline atm they quick ande exciting and of course all playing with confidence which is a dangerous thing when playing us. Really excited about friday night got my tickets, already heard there has been over 15,000 tickets sold already

Farah to half was a great move, same with Benji to half.

Only an imbecile would go to those wells again...

Oh dear....

Sheens resisted the tempation to move his favourite back into the halves this week with Gallant injured & promoted the TC halfback instead.

Surely he's seen the error of his ways and won't piss around with Marshall/Farah anymore?

Particularly given since JM signed with Cronulla and Teflon got him him out of the halves/Marshall back into the 6 ... Team is unbeaten.

That number probably wouldn't include the several thou club members either ... Looks like a bumper FNF clash coming up.

Hopefully they stick it to Parra :)
