Are the Broncos suffering post State of Origin stumbles again??

Broncos have lost 2 out of 4 since origin finished, lost 3 out of their last 6 to teams 8th or worse.

Are they flat, lost form, post origin stumbles or other teams lifting for them?

its a minor concern, but look at is this way.
Berrigan catches the lockyer grubber they more than likely beat the dogs
Brisbane convert of the 100000 line breaks vs the eagles...they win the game by 20.
Execution is letting them down, but that can be fixed.
Brisbane does miss Barry Berrigan more than anything though.

theres nothing wron with us, we cant win every week and its not like we have played poorly. I think the exceptional form of the dragons is making the broncos form look misleading....

I don't think they are because they only just lost the Manly game, you can't get much closer than losing by 1 point, the broncos played good to only go down by a drop goal(in layman's terms, field goal). Oh and Manly's 6th not 8th.

Barry Berrigan + extremely poor finishing and execution in attack is what has let us down in the past couple of weeks.

But, as Charlie pointed out, these are things that can be fixed and aren't really a sign of a lengthy slump ahead as was the case in the past couple of seasons.

This is an incredibly close competition, so for people to expect us to ride a pruple patch for the entire season is unreasonable. We are currently playing below our best, but that leaves room for improvement on the run home.

Cheers.

Anyone who writes off the Broncos is welcome to buy a bridge I have for sale, lovely one, spans Sydney Harbour...

The Broncos defence is exceptional at the moment ... that's the main thing. If they were losing by 12+ points there would be reasons to be concerned.

The good thing about the attack is that they continue to score long-range tries which are impossible unless you are playing as a team - the backing up is fantastic.

If the referee at played advantage last week against Manly after the first Tate break it was try time and a victory.

The other great thing about the Broncos all year is they have had tough games and won most of them. This type of experience is vital in finals time.

Broncos have the best defense in the comp ( considering people here reckon Lockyer and Seymour are the worst defenders in the game ), can score long range tries, make line breaks at will almost. Baz is still to return, which will improve our attack, and the finishing off will be fixed. We have been hearing about a big form slump, big Broncos slide ect from other fans since round 1, it ain't gonna happen.

What people forget is, we are playing in an even comp, very even, there are no easy wins anymore, add that to the fact we are playing in the run home, and have played over the last 3 or 4 weeks teams who's seasons are on the line, you gotta expect a few losses as these teams fight for survival in this years finals race.

We haven't had a good run in the last 4 games. It IS a form slump but it can be turned around. The next three games we have are away to penrith, home to the roosters and away to parramatta. Basically all three games need to be won well, secure the minor premiership and progress to the finals confident. The form slump can be turned around!

If we do not beat Penrith I believe our team will be nothing but pretenders.

The only excuse we can use is we don't have Lockyer playing however Brisbane do need a good surge home and if they do lose they can find themselves lacking confidence.

Is Berrigan your only hooker? What happened to Michael Ryan the 'next big thing'?

If you're that desperate for quality hookers you might be wise to shift S.Berrigan to hooker and get a centre replacement. You could even bring back John Doyle.
