Thinking the same thing ... my explanation is its the NRL & Refs genuinely now enforcing 10m defence @ play the ball.

This means a level playing field against big guns like Storm/ Broncs/ Sea Eagles/ Roosters who used lax enforcement of 10m to max advantage, and made offside rushing defence a key strategy for MANY seasons.

Hence this practice is being penalised out of the game (GOOD), more room to move from ruck and teams now can play a more free-flowing game to their potential.

Yep it’s made me stop and reevaluate my life for sure what with the rising costs of living,a mortgage two teenage daughters trouble in the Middle East and Korean Peninsula,noisy neighbors,climate change the number of penalties has made me stop and question the refs for sure

Repeated penalties on try line need to be sin binned . Roosters and Storm have it as part of their game plan!!
