I have caught a bit of these awards being replayed on fox lately.
For those who don't know
Inductees were Hoodoo Gurus, Marcia Hines, Brian Cadd, Jo Jo zep and the falcons , Frank Ifield and Radio Birdman.
Things that suprised me were
1: Unless I've missed it and they played at end the show or something....why the fug didn't the Hoodoo Gurus play on the night?
2: Shockingly the Hoodoo Gurus were never nomintaed for an Aria!
How is that possible?
With fuggen limp wristed oxygen thieves like savage Garden cleaning up in just about
every catagory , surely the Hoodoo Gurus could of been nominated once over the
years.
3: Brian Cadd : I think somebody should contact Karsen and the fab 5 quickly. This old dude is having a fashion holocaust.
4:Radio Birdman: Geeze ..I have seen them play a few times now and unless they were a whole lot better during their day then I must be deaf.
Silverchair did a better version of New Race when they were about 17 years old.
They played at the awards and it was pretty damn loose.
The drummer was shyte.
...and one last little whine.
who the fug is that skinny farka from Thirsty Merc?
( He sang with Brain Cadd on ''a little ray of sunshine'')
Why is he even getting a mention? I cannot name one of their songs.
Are they an actual band or just some sort of Pepsi commercial ditty backing band.
