Broncs clearly are banking on Pezet and Walsh. I wonder if they will offload Mam. I can see it happening. They are just able to hedge their bets due to their insane depth. This is why a draft has to become a reality in this game. All this BS about a halves shortage and yet no club can get near one cos of contracts. All fair of course. But player development is huge what if in these cases. If they are that good a club be able to play them. Even if it is loan only.
Most people are gobsmacked Trey Mooney spent the year in Cup for Canberra. And if you look at his performance he was in cheat mode. He is going to go good here.

Granted, I have expectations of him to at least be a competant first grader, but we're throwing real coin at this guy. We can talk all you like about how strong the Raiders pack is, but not many blokes get plucked out of Cup on 500k - and even fewer live up to it. Especially forwards. It's a very big show of faith - and one we really need to pay off.

Raiders dominance in the regular season did not help his cause. But I see your point. He just looked a cut above the rest from what I saw of him.

Truthfully I hope Hetho shows the promise he did as a junior. Bellamy is the perfect coach for him, and honestly I am surprised it took so long. The good news is he has about five years left to hopefully show he has something above what we saw. In his defence I think he has had a real hard time off field with his child’s health issues. When they are that sick it is all you can think of.
