Unfortunately, you were right. I reiterate: no chance of a world cup in 2007.

No, we have no chance. What options do we have as coach?

Ewen McKenzie: Critics were calling for his head as NSW coach this time last year. Don't think so.

David Nucifora: Lost the confidence and goodwill of his players. Don't think so.

John Connolly: Lurches from sacking to sacking. Don't think so.

Clive Woodward: English, and his coaching methods were blamed for a disastrous Lions tour. Don't think so.

Eddie was the only realistic option.

Last time I looked McKensie coached NSW to a final last year and was very innovative with his style of play. Nucifora should get the job, and I don't give a hoot whether the players don't "love" him. He won a title with the Brumbies and he selects players on form which is something Jones did not. He would be my choice. But either way Jones' coaching was outdated and not working. Time to move on!

Its not about liking the coach. The coach is there to coach not to be loved. The players are meant to be professionals so they should be able to deal with any coach. And if Nucifora has lost confidence of his players why have the Blues hired him as head coach. We are talking about one of the top Super 14 sides around, I think they would know of a good or bad coach. Infact they hired Henry who is now the ABs coach.

The Brumbies are also one of the top Super 14 sides around. They also know a good coach from a bad coach. They got rid of a bad one. He's in fact the only coach that hasn't left because he's been appointed to the Wallabies.

With the injuries the Brumbies had this year, they did remarkably well. Next year they will be back on top as the best Australian province, you can count on it.

Apart from Mortlock, and Rathbone what injuries? Don't count Gregan becuase Henjak is better anyway!

Giteau
Gregan
Larkham
Gerrard
Ashley-Cooper
Finegan

All Australian test representatives. Shall I go on? That is the entire backline for a start, as well as a good flanker.

Giteau played the majority of the season. Gregan is past it anyway. Larkham granted. Gerrard, you seriously counting a winger, and you had Sam Norton-Knight anyway! Ashley-Cooper a bench player. Honestly who cares, the bench only get on for 5 minutes at best anyway. Finegan, granted but he is getting on anyway. So out of that list you have 2 players! NSW had just as many injuries!

Actually the list is 8 players. Your dumbness astounds me. Ashley-Cooper was our starting winger idiot. Giteau missed the first few games of the season. Gerrard was a fullback/winger, and one of our top tryscorers from 2004. Ditto Rathbone and Mortlock.

The Brumbies had the worst injury toll in their history this season. They did quite well to get so close to the top 4.

Still a bit bitter from Jones being dumped are you and the fact that the national coach won't love the Brumbies' has-beens in the future are you!

No, I was countering your ridiculous statement that the Brumbies didn't miss any of the players that were missing.

Larkham was widely regarded as the best performing player at the start of the Super 12. Giteau was sorely missed, as was Gerrard. Ashley-Cooper showed plenty of promise and it was tragic that his season was cut so short. Without Gregan, the Brumbies had no direction; without Mortlock no captain and no punch up the middle. Without Rathbone, no flash out wide.

Still, better than supporting the Reds.

From next year my allience is with the Western Force. Most of my family is from WA, we just live in Brisbane!

Of course the Brumbies missed players, but jeez you still should have made the semis with the squad availiable! FFS didn't a South African team make it? I am not 100% sure as I was overseas at the time.

The Bulls were a very good side in 2005 and thoroughly deserved finishing 3rd.

The Brumbies squad contains a hell of a lot more younger players than in previous seasons, and it was good to see them get blooded at provincial level. They'll be better for the experience next year.

Yet you still manage to avoid explaining why anyone would be confident with Jones at the helm after 4 years of away tests against top 5 nations only bring a 10% success rating... How was he going to win in France with such an obvious inability to win tough games overseas? come on! Answer if you have the balls.
