Cross was a fantastic schoolboy union player. He will slot back in quite naturally if he changes codes.

The Force are building a great team for next season!

Well at least they are taking from the Roosters and not the other Super 14 sides.

Pelasasa is hopeless anyway. Personally I think Cross would be a bigger success than Willie Tonga.

I think cross will be more of a success then Gasnier or Tonga, he was a schoolboy sensation in Rugby Union and playing outside Henjack and Giteau he will be awesome

henjak and especially giteau are both hopelessly over rated.

What happens when the money dries up......the RL after 100 years of professionalism know that it will....thats why they have a salary cap as administrators can't be trusted to run a club without sending it to the wall trying to buy a premiership.

check the above posts, the S14 clubs arre only paying $110K to $150K, how is that going to send them to the wall, the NRL clubs pay alot more than that

the ARU made a sh*tload out of the world cup and are putting some of it back into the game

the rest comes from 3rd party sponsors

Glad to see the Roosters get a taste of their own medicine, having said that Cross is pretty average honestly don't know why the Force want him they already got McKay can cover no.10/12/13 pretty good, Staniforth who has been a revelation since coming back from London Irish in England and Graham who is a handy player as well. Waste of time and money if you ask me.

Cross was a gun flyhalf/fullback as a schoolboy.

He can play anywhere from 10-15 with skill. He'll fit in naturally.

The NRL doesn't play 12 sold out test matches a year . ARU has alot more money in the bank from sponsors, Wallabies, Tickets, TV money and it won't be long before another RWC comes back to Australia .

I'd say throw him into No.13,
MacKay No.12
Gits No.10

Looks pretty good to me, hey maybe they'll win one??

Maybe...........................

Giteau has said he will play 12 so MacKay will have to go to 10. Unless Cross wants to try his hand in that position. Maybe they could give Daruda another go at 10 with Giteau outside him.

We have a twist in this story. Seems like the Brumbies are going after him. Someone said Cross can play 10 well the Brumbies seem to need one to backup Larkham as Fairbanks is shocking.
