I spose it works both ways... A big finish can be bigger with no corners or it may be weakened without winding up round a bend to swoop past the others. Or I could just be talking sh*t :lol:

Difficult race this one. Shooting for 4 from 4 I think Splashing Out (12) looks a good chance in this. Keeps taking the next step and last nice was a nice win over Corton Charlemagne who won well last weekend. At 10's she'll do me.

Gold Edition (10) looks hard to beat. Will be in this a long way. Narrowly beaten by Reigning to Win last start and apparently ran very well in a track gallop today.

Dropping back in distance, I think Churchill Downs (2) will look the winner in this at some stage. Stuck on well over the mile in the Caulfield Guineas and will be strong at the end of this.

Putting Wonderful World (1) in for the same reason. Not sure the drop to the straight 6 will suit him as much as CD though.

Nediym's Glow (11) has won down the straight and is very consistant. She'll be thereabouts as will Green Birdie (5) who ran well last start when beaten by Miss Andretti.

Depends how hard they go up front, but with speed on it will suit him down to the ground.

He's probably a 1600m horse but that won't stop finishing hard.

What a brilliant run by Gold Edition! I was tossing up between GE and Splashing Out... but went the right way in the end. Just a fiver, but that's two from two so far for me!
