The combo between Hodgo and Moodie. These two are starting to work off eachother very nicely.I love it when they kick in to Hodgo on Moodies side. You know something could happen......lilke the bloody try of the year we scored that went for 90 metres through plenty of hands, ahhhhhhhhh bloody bootiful.

And even though Im not startting the Fitzy fan club,I have to admit that he did finish that try very nicely, looked quite sharp when he needed to be there. Can it get much better than Moodie,to Hodgo,to Moodie drifts across picks up Galea fyling on to it.......then BANG to Benji and BANG to Fitzy,boootiful...Fitzy too fast OOOH YEAH.

Sometimes I need to remember that this team is learning to play with eachother........great to see a combo click.....it can only get better.......

And wasnt it great to see Benny G back to some good form.It has been so long I had forgotten how good he can be.I thought he was really involved when I watched it,But what I didnt realise that his stats were through the roof.36 tackles, about 13 hitups, for about 129 metres, fantastic work......

And i have just looked at the table and we are still in sixth,I reckon if there was a game to lose that hasnt hurt us too bad this is it.Other games went pretty well for us....... ;-)

Next weekend the Warriors will be without Meli,Faumoina, and Seu Seu.....they are all bye byes.We can definitely win this game.Id like to see the boys really get in there and mix it with the Warriors.....Itd be a test cos the kiwiw were loving the rough stuff today.Really unsettled Canberra.Match the Warriors forwards and we have our side back again....and cant wait to see Keiran Kerr go again, and see if the first time wasnt a fluke eh??

Go Wts...... ;-)

Yeah those are all positives, i especially love the fact that even thought down 30-12 late, the boys showed some ticker and came up with 2 tries , i know they were late tries but still the boys showed some self belief still.

Two dangerous aspects of the Warriors. Their ability to keep the ball alive, and Stacey Jones. He showed glimpses of his old ways today against Canberra. He's starting to run the football alot more and backing himself. Fundamental's of football. All Wests Tigers have to do is wrap up the ball, don't give New Zealand an opportunity for an offload, because with their strikepower, within a set of 6 they can easily go the full length of the football field on attacking raid.

Jones is back at half.

Some of those backline movements last nite, whith Hodgson 'chiming into the backline' and using the entire width of the field were beatiful to watch.

Indeed they are Innsaneo. 'Poetry in motion'. What's annoying my is Buckets floating out in the backs. He seems to be an extra pair of hands before it gets passed on to Elford, then Moodie is run out of the play. Fair enough is Buckets was a Galuvao or Puletua, but that he ain't. It's stagnating our attack in my opinion. That's where Hodgson would come in handy. With his attacking skills and light feet.

lol - and good to see it ;-)

So, we are still a chance against the warriors? Hopefully Sat night was just a bit of a reality check for the team and they'll be back to their winning ways come this weekend. :D

I've been saying that Benny Galea was starting to show some good form running the ball!! (But in past weeks it has been in bursts and not for the full 80)!

But against Melbourne he proved he has finally gotten over his shoulder injury and his fitness is back - which is a huge bonus for our back-row!!

Especially given that Satts clearly struggled withi his knees on several occasions on saturday - and may need a break before long!

As stated bon - it was his running form that I believe was on the improve!

However - while his effective tackle rate leaves much to be desired - his work-rate in defence is getting up there again which is a good thing!

Thank God!!!!.....i`m not the only one with this opinion, however he is a tough bastard and I don`t think there`s any way in the world a broken nose will keep him out next week!

I agree on the ONeil thing ,last year he had his best year ever. Than this year he stops doing everything he did well last year and decides that he is a ball player. It wouldnt be a bad thing in another side but we already have Sattler, Galea and Graham who do this. I hate it now when ONeil gets the ball, he seems scared not only to go to ground with it but to go to the line with it. I thought we got this out of the team when Pearson left!

On Fitzy this guy is lightning. I don't think many people know just how quick he is. Mainly because he never makes a break  But I'd back him to be the quickest in our team with ease.

If you don't believe him, check the 7's video when he was actually given some decent ball.

My point was that he is one of the quickest players, if not the quickest, in our team. I suppose people run faster in sevens do they?

Dunno bout that, but in sevens theres less defense....most of the time when fitz is confronted with defense he just stops.
