Assistant Coaches and what they do?

can someone tell me why we need so mant assistant coaches?? Does Brian Smith actually coach the side or does he break them into groups and get the Assistant coaches to coach them?

JT
Rod Reddy
Alan Wilson
Maybe a few more that I have not mentioned

Too many people trying too many things which causes a disjointed team. Smith should just take control and do it himself. I can understand having 1 assistant but 4 or 5 is a Joke.

I cant wait till Parra get a new damn Coach, the eels have been on the slide since 2001 and quite frankly if this was a European football club Smith would have been fired back in 2002. You think Manchester Utd, Arsenal, AC Milan or Real Madrid would put up with this? Parra are a top organisation with loads of money, great juniours and class players and yet they are getting hammered by other top teams time and time again. For me the blame falls on Smith and his coaching techniques.

All those homo English soccer homo clubs dont have to deal with a salary cap. That's why only 4 teams can actually win the homo championship.

Very different story and stupid analogy

Not really, Parra were a top 4 team from 1998-2001 and then things went very sour. I am just stating that other sports organisations in the world dont see this as accepible so why does the Parramatta Eels think differently?

Most teams tend to break up into positional groups when training. But it is odd that a team would have 3 assistant coaches.
