At The Drive-In reform

It’s the news all Mars Volta fans (and those who never want to hear them again) have been waiting for – post-hardcore rockers At The Drive-In are set to reform.
The announcement was made via their 6-month old twitter account this morning, when the band posted: “¡ATTENTION! To whom it may concern: AT THE DRIVE-IN will be breaking their 11 year silence THIS STATION IS …NOW…OPERATIONAL.”
Early reports indicate that all five original members of the band – Cedric Bixler-Zavala
Jim Ward, Omar Rodríguez-López, Paul Hinojos
and Tony Hajjar will be part of the reunion, however, little more details are currently known.
The band went on an indefinite hiatus back in March 2001, only months after they had stormed off stage at the Big Day Out after telling the crowd, “You’re a robot, you’re a sheep!”
When speaking with FL about At The Drive-In reunion rumours last year, Jim Ward said: “I started At the Drive-In in a park when I was 17 years old and I couldn’t be prouder. I came from a town where people don’t come from musically, I didn’t come from LA, I didn’t come from a big city. We fought tooth and nail to get where we went, I’ll never be embarrassed by that.”

Kinda excited by that. Still enjoy listening to 'Relationship of Command' occasionally.

Relationship of Command the best album of the last 12 years (since whenever it was released). In/Casino/Out and Vaya go pretty well also. Really hope they tour

Never really got the hype about ATDI, they are a hell of a lot better than the mars volta though, so this announcement is welcomed.
