Atmosphere on Saturday night

Great crowd on the weekend and a great atmosphere at Parra stadium on Saturday night.
Great work on the hill as well with bay 56 and the maniacs singing together and making a lot of noise. I think the difference was Suity and his gang being there and with colonel really starting some chants. The best atmosphere on the hill for the year. The interest is there all they need is some people to start the chants (suity, HJ, colonel etc).

I have to thank Suity, Belly and the boys for getting up and loud. The crowd was great so I just enjoyed myself!

No doubt. Just like all those bandwagoners that were at the game on Saturday night from twinkie country. Never seen so many dero's in one place since last year's grand final!

Sorry to Colonel, Belly and the boys that we couldn't co-ordinate some chants with you, but organising dunk boys is harder then it looked, so i just sand along to both!! :D

what exactly is that supposed to mean eagle eye

I think i can help there...he is laughing because for the fact that the atmosphere my have been good....but u havent experienced atmosphere until u attend a real match (i.e. overseas soccer), ecspecially between teams with major rivarly....inter vs milan....barcelona vs real madrid
.....too put a small picture into ur mind, imagine sitting in a stadium of 60 000 with 50 000 home supporters singing in tune of there hatered of there rivals....makes every other sporting event feel like a local park sporting event.

Yes mini, it was a great night with a great atmosphere. Glad to have played a small part.

Colonel.

At several times during the game, I noticed several fans....quite a few actually, who were sitting there with their yellow shirts and wigs on, refusing to participate in chants.

I thought the whole idea of the complimentary entry was to build a group of supporters who are will to give it their all.

I would be in future putting these people on notice that to receive the generosity from the Parramatta club that they so willingly take, there is some work to do.

Otherwise, pay the $15 bucks and sit elsewhere.

Too true. At times during the year I have felt like a one man band - thankfully planet was there for a few games and lent his voice otherwise I'd definite have had none. There tends to be a small group thyat will get involved, some that look at you if your stupid (hey its true I am but its the Eeeels! ) and some that only want to go for free.

Plans are under construction for next year - for those that haven't bought season tickets yet and are planning to do so give me a week or two and I will hopefully have something we can all get involved in next year thru to the club - passionate fans need only apply! ;-)

Yes, they were the looks I was getting as well. Maybe they know me better than I thought they did. ;-)

Seriously, it was this lot.....they were sitting in front of me, that were pathetic.
If I see behaviour like that again, I would be telling them it is all or nothing.

If the club paid my airfare every home game (and i'm sure belly would be in this as well) we would be there singing our hearts out..... :D
